Tim O’Hare is the elected Tarrant County Judge, first elected on November 8, 2022, and sworn in on January 1, 2023. He is the 33rd County Judge in Tarrant County history, a fifth-generation Texan, and a lifelong Metroplex resident. O’Hare earned a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin in 1991 and a law degree from SMU School of Law in 1995. Before taking office, he spent 25 years managing a law firm and real estate investment company, and previously served on the Farmers Branch City Council before becoming Mayor from 2008 to 2011.
