Chamber Business Luncheon: EduConnect 2027: Ready for What's Next?

The workforce is changing faster than traditional education and hiring systems can keep up.

EduConnect brings together Mansfield ISD, Tarrant County College, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing, UTA, UNT and the business community for a fast-paced conversation about what workforce readiness must look like going into 2027.

This will not be a traditional panel or series of presentations. Expect candid discussion, rapid-fire questions, table challenges and direct interaction between educators and employers.

Together, we will explore:

• The skills and capabilities employers need most
• How AI is changing education, jobs and workplace expectations
• Where the disconnect exists between classrooms and careers
• What businesses and education partners can do differently
• How we can create stronger pathways into local careers

Participants will leave with new insights, practical connections and opportunities to help build a stronger talent pipeline for Mansfield.
