Founded in 1988 by Gene and Delores Clifton, Clifco Spice Sales, Inc., formerly Clifco Sales, Inc., started as a backyard venture crafting sausage seasonings for the meatpacking industry. Over the years, it expanded rapidly, becoming a prominent name in the barbecue world. Following the passing of the founders, Kevin Clifton and his daughter, Laura, assumed leadership, aiming to make Clifco one of Texas' top spice producers. Kevin forged partnerships with leading barbecue entrepreneurs, supplying numerous renowned barbecue companies.
